So...remember that one time I tried to do my own faux locs?

Sometimes I really wish the stories I hear about the things that we go through as people of color or people with natural hair were just a joke. But then i think even if it was a joke it wouldn't be funny.

It never ceases to amaze me at how amazed people are when I show them the length of my hair. I feel like people really think just because I have MAJOR shrinkage that what they see is really all they get when it comes to my hair.
