A few of days ago while getting drinks with girlfriends the topic of waxing came up. What I thought would be a routine conversation where we all shared our experiences, bitched about the bad ones and laughed into the next topic quickly turned into a slight debate.
Half the girls were pro waxing and the other half heavily against it because of "pain".
I was shocked to find that there were still women who have never gotten a wax just because they're scared of the "pain".
No judgment of course...I just believe all women should treat themselves (and their men) to the wonderfulness that is a smooth kitty.
So because I care about you, im going to let you in on all the reasons why you should no longer live and die by the razor and some tips for first time waxers...because after this post i'm sure you'll be on team #smoothkitty
Yup...thats right, we broke up.
I mean you could have guessed it, all the normal breakup signs were there.
There have been no Bae updates, he's not on my Snapchat anymore, I haven't posted him on The Gram and he damn sure hasn't been on the blog. Hell I haven't even been on the blog and its partially due to the breakup.
To be very honest...I took it all pretty hard, I'm the type who puts everything into a relationship. I can become so clouded by the whole thing that if things go left...when I'm sitting here thinking things are going right (literally I didn't even see it coming) it hits me like a Mac truck...and I'm not talking about one that holds Makeup or Laptops which would have been so much better -___-
However after one very "honest" phone call and a come to Jesus moment with my bestie my devastated outlook on the ending of our relationship has been flipped and I'm in a much better place.
For once...I feel like I'm able to see the lesson's to be learned from our
ending and how it all leads to a new beginning.
TALK ABOUT PERSONAL GROWTH BITCH!
And that what I'm here to share with you...the 6 lessons I learned from losing love.

Somewhere along the line when I was dating I came up with this idea that I would be married before I had sex with a certain number of men. I didn't exactly know where that thought came from or why I had come to this conclusion that my number of sexual partners was so important but it was.
As I dated more, every time the conversation of being intimate with my partner came up I had a mini panic attack. I would frantically begin the count in my head, recapping everyone I had had sex with. Making sure I was still far enough away from "my number" just in case he wasn't "the one".
You know....ensuring that I still had enough wiggle room.

Because at the end of the day you aint gonna be happy settling with Mr.Right now and poooor little Mr.Right now is just going to wind up hurt.
So...how do you know if you really love him or if your in a Situationship? Put on your big girl panties and check the 5 sure signs that this...ain't the real thing below.
Happy Sunday Loves
Todays Sunday Session is on love & worth.
Often times because we want love so much we are willing to accept it in its most limited form. Its like when you're super hungry, just a bite of something can hold you over and reduce your cravings...but by no means are you full or satisfied.
You have merely curbed your appetite until your stomach realizes it has not been adequately nourished.
On friday I turned 27, TWENTY.....SEVEN. A whole 27
And I think I'm still struggling to deal with the idea that I'm actually an adult...and the fact that I've been single for a whole damn year *insert side eye*
Thats right SINGLE FOR A YEAR...which to most may not seem like a big deal but when you get into adulthood and you're too old to be irresponsible and thoting around, but too young to feel like you need to have a husband and a kid hanging from your boob.
Being 26 and single for a year SUCKS.
Being 26 and single for a year SUCKS.
and I'm here to tell you why.
This past week I have been in one of the biggest funks I have been in...in a very long time. Things were not quite going right with work, I felt like I was being looked over in business, I wasn't really sleeping or eating right...and most of all I felt lost with where my life was going/where it should be at 26 going on 27.
I had honestly wished that there was one thing in particular that was wrong so I could focus on it and fix it, however there were so many things that I wanted to address it felt overwhelming. So much so that after work on Friday around 7:00 pm I laid on the bed and didn't get back up until 12:30 pm the next day.
I HAD HAD IT!
At one point or another in life we're all guilty of being ungrateful...and more often than not I don't actually believe it's on purpose.
I don't think anyone strives to be ungrateful for the things that they have, the blessings they are given or the opportunities that they are allotted in life. I think more so it comes down to it being so hard to see the good when you're also being faced with bad.
No matter if it's in love, your every day life or situations with family having good things happen are often out shadowed by the bad things that tend to follow right behind any good situation.
And we focus so much on those bad things that the good even though it's still there disappears...

Ok so I feel its only fair to first admit that I am writing this blog without actually watching the last episode of this seasons Being Mary Jane...trust me though I AM going to watch it as soon as I'm done this post. I just want to be able to write with a clear head lol.
