I have not quite figured out why but I live for a dark lip!
Fall, Winter, Spring Summer...I don't care about the season! While most people are reaching for nude and flirty pink's for their lips and eyes I'm still holding on to my deep tones.
But...this love of dark tones doesn't go without a struggle. When summer time hits I've always struggled on how to make dark vampy makeup work without looking out of season.
But I think I've finally got it. Check out what I used to achieve this vampy daytime summer look below!
The hardest thing about blogging may really be picking the perfect outfit for an event. This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending the Kinky Hair Unlocked event in Atlanta, GA hosted by 4CHairChicks (check out my event recap HERE). I was super excited about the event and seeing fellow type 4 hair ladies and bloggers in one place...but when it came to an outfit...I was completely lost.

I am super excited to share this post with you guys, wednesday I got a chance to go shopping yes I know shopping again and of course it was at two of my favorite places to snag great deals on shoes DSW & Target.
This time around I was specifically looking for sandals and flip-flops for summertime because apparently I am completely unprepared and have NONE. I literally looked at my shoe rack and was like what am I going to wear?! It's 90° outside I have nothing....now a girl not having any shoes hard to believe I know, but it's the truth my selection of sandals and flip-flops were so out of date and totally not my style anymore so I had to go pick up some new ones.
Unless you live under a rock I'm sure you have heard all the buzz about this weekends kick off to the festival of all festivals (drum roll) Coachella which is pretty much the closest our generation will ever get to the epicness that was woodsotck.
